Hello there, mrmbookkeeper.

I appreciate you for letting me know that you've tried the Verify and Rebuild data. I'll make sure to provide you with the right amount of information on how you can work with bank feeds again.

There are ways to fix bank feed issues in QuickBooks Desktop. Are you receiving a specific error message? Any additional details you can provide will help me to share with you the best resolution for that kind of issue.

It could be that the Financial Institution Directory (FIDIR) is not updated to include information for your financial institution. Also, there's possible damage in your company data file.

To update your Financial Institutions Directory (FiDir), you can run an automatic update. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Banking menu.
  2. Select Bank Feeds then Bank Feeds Center.
  3. Select the Refresh account(s) icon or choose Sync all for this bank from the drop-down.

You can also manually update by locating the fidir.txt file on Windows 10, 8, and 7. Please check this article for the complete steps and information: Learn how to update your Financial Institutions Directory (FiDir) in QuickBooks Desktop

If the error persists or experiencing other specific issues, follow additional troubleshooting steps provided in this article: Fix OL and OLSU Bank Feed errors. If the same thing happens, you can give us a short call to further investigate this one.

Please let me know if you have other questions or need additional assistance. I'm right here whenever you need help. Take care always.

All bank feeds have been deactivated and when we attempt to activate for one of the accounts under "Edit Account", Bank Feeds tab, the Financial Institution information doesn't show up, and when we enter the proper Account Customer ID, we get this message.

"You must enter a value for all of the fields on the Online Services tab."

No idea where that "tab" is our what information is required.

This happens A L L   T H E   T I M E !!!

I've had this happen 7 times and each time it takes MONTHS for Intuit to figure out how to fix it.  We try rebuilding, exporting and manually hacking the data, adding new accounts and merging, resorting, standing on our heads and chanting...you name it they have me do it.

Ultimately they end up writing a utility and sending it to me to fix the software.

I have just had to reconnect all the accounts due to a bank change and a simple little reconnect has taken me 26 hours of fighting with this for the 8th time.  I'm tired and need to get back to work since I'm unable to do any banking.

I guess I'll be spending then next month and a half fighting with Intuit.  Good luck getting your database fixed!
