Bank Feeds Tracks CC Number In Memo

It just occurred to me that when QB Desktop downloads my credit card transactions, it replaces the bank memo with the actual credit card number.  Is there a way to prevent it from inputting my credit card number in the transaction and enter the actual bank memo?

The data we receive in QuickBooks depends on the information sent to us by the financial institution. To isolate this issue, I would recommend reaching out to our Customer Care Support Team. They have the necessary tools to have this further checked.

 

Here's how to contact them:

 

  1. Go to Help.
  2. Select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  3. Click Contact Us.
  4. Select Search for something else.
  5. Enter "Bank Feeds Tracks CC Number In Memo" in the Tell us more about your question: field.
  6. Click Start a Message.
