Hello,

I have some transactions  on the bank statements that are not in the books. Is that mean I didn't post some transactions in the QuickBooks?

Thanks

I'll help you review your accounts so they match your bank and credit card statements, Frieaza.

Yes, that's possible. If the transactions showing in your monthly statements came from your company, you'll have to enter them into the program. This ensures that your books reflect your real-life business processes. I'll show you how:

  1. Go to the CustomersVendors, or Banking menu.
  2. Choose the appropriate transaction.
  3. Set the correct payee/customer, bank account, and date.
  4. Enter the other necessary information.
  5. Click Save & Close.

Here are some articles that you can browse to learn how to perform bank reconciliations in QuickBooks Desktop:

I'm just a post away if you need a helping hand in dealing with your other banking tasks. Have a great rest of the week, Frieaza.
