Bank Register

My Quickbooks online bank register is not showing any transactions past July 2017. When I click to update banking it says that everything is up to date and there are no transactions to review.  I have been working all week (paying bills, employees, etc.) and my bank register was showing everything that I had done along with my downloaded transactions from my bank.  Now when I go back, like to edit a check or anything, my register stops at 2017. This is also causing my Quickbooks register balance to be thousands of dollars off from my actual bank balance.
