How do you match an ACH payment that needs an adjustment (deposit) to match bank feed.  Prior month adjustment was a payment, so match was not a problem.

Welcome to the Community, SVSU89. I'm here to ensure you'll match your ACH payment with what's on your bank feeds in QuickBooks Online.

When matching your transaction, you can use the resolve difference feature to offset the amount with your adjustments.

Here's how:

  1. On the left panel, click Transactions.
  2. Go to the Bank transactions menu.
  3. Select your account, then go to the For review section.
  4. Choose the transaction, then Find match.
  5. Filter the transaction type and date.
  6. Mark the transactions that matched the entry.
  7. Enable the Resolve Difference radio button.
  8. Select the correct category that was affected by the adjustment and enter the desired amount under Add resolving transactions.
  9. When done, select Save.

Once all your transactions are categorized, you're now ready to proceed with your reconciliation.
