My bank transactions stopped updating on QBO on June 28, even though the amount shown in my bank account is correct. I have pressed the update button several times and made sure the account is still linked to QB, I am not sure what to do or why this has happened out of no where.

I can help you look into your bank downloaded transactions, Robin L.

You can try filtering the transaction on the For review tab by month and check if the transactions were downloaded. Let me show you how:

  1. Go to the Banking or Transactions menu and click Banking.
  2. Click on the bank tile and go to the For review tab.
  3. From the All dates drop-down, set the date range by month or to the dates you prefer.
  4. Click Apply

If you're unable to see the transaction still, the issue might be caused by stored ache files within your regular browser. To begin with, you can try accessing your account using a private browser. You can use the keyboard shortcuts below to open one:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Option + P

If this works, it means that you need to clear your browser's cache so the system can start fresh. If you get the same result while using a private browser, I recommend switching to a different browser.

You can also get other ways on other steps to take when you can’t find downloaded transactions in QuickBooks Online.

Let me know how this works so I can walk you through it from there. Take care!
