banking tab reverts to alphabetical order rather than order saved. Why recent change to alphabetical order. Why recent QB change and if you change order and save why does it not stay as you recently changed

Hi there, @accounting476. I'm very eager to share some workarounds to sort this issue out.

If you mean to reorder your bank accounts, I've tried replicating this on my end. I refreshed the Banking tab, signed out, and logged back in, and it all works fine.

There are times when too much historical data from the browser causes discrepancies that affect the view and performance of your QuickBooks. Thus, it might be the reason why it reverts to alphabetical order.

I suggest logging in to your QBO using a private window. It doesn't use the existing cache files to help us determine if this is a browser-related issue. Feel free to use either of these keyboard shortcuts, depending on your browser:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Safari 11 or newer: ⌘ Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl Shift P

If it works fine, you can go back to your original browser and clear its cache to start fresh. You can also use another supported and up-to-date browser to narrow down the results.

Furthermore, here are some articles that you can read to help speed up the review process of your online bank transactions:
