If I process an echeck, is this eligible for an instant deposit? My account has instant deposit available.  Would an echeck transaction qualify within instant deposits?

Hi there, @cherryl-madhatch.

Thanks for reaching out to us today. I'll be sharing some details about the instant deposit option in QuickBooks Online.

For your concern, an electronic check (eCheck) is not eligible for instant deposit. It's because eChecks typically take between 24 and 48 hours to verify and between 3–6 business days for funds to be withdrawn and deposited into the respective accounts. Thus, it can take a few days to actually see money move, and not instantly.

Feel free to check out this resource for more information about eChecks: What is an eCheck?

I’m also including this handy article that can help you in case you encounter issues with instant deposits: Get help with instant deposits.

Additionally, here's a resource that contains topics that answer common questions about the Payments feature. This resource will guide you on how to check the funding status, payments processing, etc: QuickBooks Payments FAQ.
