Can anyone tell me if we can recall a deposit made to the bank?

I'll share the steps on how you can recall a deposit. You'll want to delete the deposit from the register to do it. Let me guide you how.

1. Go to Accounting. Then, tap Chart of Accounts.
2. Select the account where the deposit is posted. Then, tick the View register link.
3. Click the deposit to open, then hit Delete. See the image below.

Once deleted, the deposit or payments will go back into the Undeposited Funds account. Check out this article for details: Record and make bank deposits in QuickBooks Online.

On the other hand, you can contact your bank to stop the deposit.
