Question

Can I change the information at the top of the chart when I'm reconciling to show just the month I'm working on & not the whole year?

Hello there, @dodgetreasurer@g. I'm happy to help you change the information on the reconciliation page in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

You simply need to select the Edit info button on the Reconciliation page and change the date from there. Let me guide you on how:

  1. In your QBO account, select the Accounting menu and choose Reconcile.
  2. Pick the correct account and click the Start reconciling or Resume reconciling button.
  3. Next, select the Edit info option and enter the correct date in the End date field.
  4. Once done, click Save.

You can also filter the info showing on the Reconciliation page by selecting the funnel icon. Please see the screenshot for reference:

Once everything is fine you can now proceed in reconciling your account

For additional guidance, feel free to visit this article: Learn the reconcile workflow in QuickBooks.

Once done, you can also pull up a report to have a handy copy of the reconciliation data you've performed. For the detailed steps, check out this link: How do I view, print, or export a reconciliation report?.

Please let me know how this goes, I want to ensure you'll be able to reconcile to your account seamlessly. If you have any other QBO concerns, feel free to post again here. I'm just around the corner to help. Take care always.
