There is a Received From in my Bank Deposit screen that needs to be deleted because it was corrected with a new entry.  How can I delete it?

Yes, oscnapa. We can delete a receipt in QuickBooks Online (QBO). I'd be delighted to show you how.

In the Bank Deposit window, we can select the receipt to open and delete it. Here's how:

  1. Go to the +New button.
  2. Under Other, select Bank Deposit.
  3. Click the receipt to open it.
  4. Select More at the bottom.
  5. Tap Delete and Yes to confirm.

Alternatively, go to the Transactions menu if the receipt is a bank transaction. This way, you can exclude and delete it. I'll guide you on how to do it.

  1. Go to the Transactions menu and select Bank Transactions.
  2. Find and select the deposit entry that contains the receipt you want to delete.
  3. Click Exclude.
  4. Tap the Excluded tab.
  5. Select the deposit and hit Delete.
