Can I delete my account and how?

Being able to delete your company file on the spot in QBO isn't available, @desireed-desiree.

In QuickBooks, you have the option to cancel your subscription. This is to ensure that you can still have read-only access to your data whenever you need some information when filing your forms for the year.

Here's how to cancel your account:

1. Click the Gear icon, and then select Account and Settings.
2. Select the Billing & Subscription tab.
3. On the QuickBooks section, click Cancel.

In addition, our servers will keep your company file available for a year. If it gets past that and you haven't resubscribed, the company file will be deleted automatically from our servers. You can take a look at what will happen after you cancel to know more.
