Disconnecting your personal (private) bank account in QuickBooks Online (QBO) is a breeze. You've got me here to help you succeed, tk-mci.

Before disconnecting the bank account, add and match all the pending transactions on the Banking page. Remember, disconnecting the account deletes all the uncategorized transactions in the For review tab. Once you've completed this process, let's disconnect the account.

To disconnect your private bank account in QuickBooks Online (QBO), please follow these steps:

  1. Go to Transactions, then Bank transactions.
  2. Choose the tile for the bank account.
  3. Click the pencil icon, then select Edit account info.
  4. Mark check the Disconnect this account on save checkbox.
  5. Save the changes by clicking on the Save and Close button.

Once you have successfully disconnected your private bank account, it will no longer be linked to your QuickBooks Online account, and any future transactions will not be imported automatically.
