I'm here to share some information about importing transactions into your account, @ltlkid5867.

When connecting to Online banking, QuickBooks Online (QBO) automatically downloads the bank transactions for the last 90 days (or more). However, if you want to download the older bank statement you can use web connect which is you manually download it into your QuickBooks Online account.

You can use the supported file to download those transactions,

Here are the file types you can use:

  • Comma-Separated Values (CSV)
  • Quicken (QFX)
  • QuickBooks Online (QBO)
  • Microsoft Money (OFX)

Once ready, you can now upload your transactions into QBO. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Banking menu, and then choose Upload transactions.
  2. Select Browse and pick the file you downloaded from your bank, then tap Next
  3. From the QuickBooks account ▼ drop-down menu, choose the account you want to upload the transactions into, and then click Next.
  4. Follow the onscreen instructions. Match the columns on the file with the banking fields in QuickBooks, and then tap Next.
  5. Hit Let's go when you're ready.

You can also import bank transactions into QBO using Excel CSV (comma-separated values) files. Just refer to this article for the steps and details: Import bank transactions using Excel CSV files

Once your entries imported, I recommend categorizing and matching the transactions to the existing entries in QBO. Doing so will help ensure your financial records are accurate. Just go to the For Review tab to complete this task.

As always, you can reach back out if you have further questions about importing transactions in QuickBooks Online. I’d be happy to answer it for you.
