How do I enter new data to my check register?

Welcome, @cmsyr2019

 

Congrats on making your first post here in the Community. I can show you how to enter new data to your check register. 

 

It only takes a few simple clicks to get some information added to your check register. Here's how: 

 

  1. Go to the Gear (Settings) icon in the top right-hand corner. 
  2. Choose Chart of accounts under the "Your Company" column. 
  3. Find the account and hit View register from the "Actions" column. 

 

Note: Not every account register lets you add transactions directly. 

 

Next, let's add a transaction to the account register: 

 

  1. At the top of the list, pick Add journal entry, Add check, or Add deposit drop-down menu.
  2. Pick the type of transaction you want to enter. 
  3. Complete the fields required. 
  4. Hit Save when you're ready.
