Hi there, @usermetalstructuresl

Thanks fr visiting the Community today for your concern. You can import the employee list using Excel in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

You can import them as a vendor list into your account. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Settings menu, then select Import Data.
  2. Select Vendors., then click Browse to upload the file from your computer.
  3. Choose the file, then select Open and select Next.
  4. In the Your Field column, select each small arrow icon, then match your field to the corresponding QuickBooks Online field.
  5. Select No Match if you have a field that doesn't have a matching column in your spreadsheet, then confirm your contacts.
  6. Uncheck any that you don't want to save.
  7. If everything looks good, select Import.

You can also follow the steps and details in this article: Import customer or vendor contacts from Outlook, Excel, or Gmail.

Once done, edit the list and check the box for Track payments for 1099 so the lists will be reflected on the Contractors page.
