Thanks for taking the time to scour our Community space for potential solutions, @db53

Yes, we can add Chesapeake Bank (VA) to QuickBooks Online (QBO) and download your transactions. Let me show you how:

  1. Go to Bookkeeping then Transactions then select Bank transactions, or go to Banking.
  2. If this is the first bank account you’ve set up, tap Connect account. Or select Link account if you already created one.
  3. In the search field, enter the name for your bank, credit card, or credit union.
  4. Tap Continue. Then sign in to your bank with your user ID and password.
  5. Follow the on-screen steps. This might include security checks your bank requires. It could take a few minutes to connect.
  6. Choose the accounts you want to connect, then select the account type ▼dropdown. Selevt the account type that matches your chart of accounts in QuickBooks.

For the steps and details, check out this article: Connect bank and credit card accounts to QuickBooks Online. If you can't find your financial institution or if your bank doesn’t appear, we can request support for your bank. Here's how:

  1. Go to Bookkeeping then Transactions then select Bank transactions, or go to Banking.
  2. Select Add account.
  3. Search for the name of your financial institution. If QuickBooks is unable to find your bank, you will get the message, "Hmm, we can’t find [name of the bank you entered] in our list of supported banks," and you will be presented with helpful tips to try and locate your bank account.
  4. If you’re still unable to find your bank, select Request support for your bank.
  5. Enter your bank's web address (URL) in the field provided.
  6. Press Request.

In the meantime, we can download transactions from your bank's website and manually upload them to QBO. Here's an article you can refer to for more insights on how to manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online or import bank transactions from Excel CSV file to QuickBooks Online.
