Can I manually add a bank account using my account and routing numbers?

QBO keeps wanting to sync with my personal bank acct. instead of my business bank acct. I already Completely reset my account.

Thank you for posting here in the Community. I'm here to help you link your bank account to QuickBooks Online.

 

The only way to connect your account and download transactions automatically is by signing into your bank's website within QuickBooks. You'll need to enter the login credentials that link to your business account to sync successfully.

 

Another method to add an account and download data automatically is unavailable. Users are required to go through the search screen when performing the setup process.

 

You can enter the URL instead of the bank name from the search field (see screenshot below). This way, we'll be able to make sure you're connecting to the correct one.

 

 

Also, can you share with us the name of your bank? If the specific account type is not supported, the only option is to upload information manually into our system.

 

You usually download this file from your bank. Before you can upload, your data should be in the correct format. I've added a link you can use for additional guidance in QuickBooks: Format CSV files in Excel to get bank transactions into QuickBooks.
