Hi there, @ackcaroleann.

We're unable to import your 2020 tax info to QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE). We can only import mileage and bank transactions. If you want to record your tax info, you'll have to enter it manually in the Tax Profile settings. Here's how:

  1. Select the Gear icon ⚙️, then pick Tax profile under the Taxes section.
  2. Enter the needed details such as the Marital statusNumber of Dependents, etc.
  3. Hit Save to confirm the actions made.

When your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) account is tax bundled, you can import your tax info. I'd recommend checking out this article to learn more about this: Tax Bundle.

In the meantime, I'm also adding this article to further guide you in filing your taxes with QBSE: QuickBooks Self-Employed annual tax guide. It also includes topics about year-end reports and sending data to TurboTax to name a few.

Let me know if you have other concerns about managing your self-employed account, transactions, and taxes in QuickBooks. I'm just around to help. Take care always.
