Can I undo previous reconciliations?

Yes, you can undo previous reconciliation in QuickBooks Online, @ziaproduction.

If you reconciled transactions by mistake, you can remove them individually from the reconciliation. Keep in mind that even small changes can unbalance your accounts. To minimize the impact, unreconciled entries one at a time. 

Here's what you need to do: 

1. Review the opening, beginning, and ending balances for the account holding the transaction. 
2. Once you know what you need to change, unreconciled the transactions by going to the Accounting menu.
3. Choose Chart of Accounts.
4. Locate the account holding the transaction and then click View register. 
5. Select the entry you want to unreconciled to expand the view.
6. Review the check column. If the transaction is reconciled, you’ll see an R.
7. Click the checkbox to change the letter in the box. Keep selecting it until the box is blank. This removes the transaction from the reconciliation.
8. Choose Save and close the account register.
   
   

If you need to start over completely, it would be best to reach out to your accountant. Only accountants can undo the entire reconciliations. Please also ensure that your accountant has QuickBooks Online Accountant software linked to your account.

Once everything is settled, you can go back again in reconciling your accounts so that they always match your bank and credit card statements.
