Question

Can I use my QB business debit card as a regular debit card? Pay my employees, set up my business insurance to withdraw monthly fees, and have client deposit money?

Hi there, GLADK.

Welcome back to the QuickBooks Community. I'll ensure to share some details on how QuickBooks debit card works.

Once you sign up for QuickBooks Payments, you'll get a QuickBooks Cash account and a QuickBooks Cash debit card. You can utilize a QuickBooks debit card to withdraw money from your QuickBooks Cash account. That said, yes, you can use your QB business debit card like a regular debit card to receive payments and have clients deposit money and other expenses. Then, set up business insurance to withdraw monthly fees if you use online bill pay. Please note that this doesn't include employee payments. Paying them is done through payroll.

Additionally, you can take cash from ATMs or make purchases like any other Visa debit card. And if you use your QuickBooks debit card for instant deposits, we also don't charge an additional fee for faster deposits. To see additional information, you can click this article: Use the QuickBooks debit card to get your cash.

On the other hand, you can open this article to view details on how you can link your company bank account to pay employees or contractors and pay taxes electronically using your Online Payroll service: Connect your bank to Online Payroll.
