We've been unable to receive updates from our Merrill Lynch account for the past week. Despite trying all available methods, we continue to encounter the following message: 'The Merrill site is down for maintenance, so we can’t connect to it right now. Check back in a few hours. (105).' However, we are able to log into our account directly on Merrill Lynch's website.

We tried loh into OBO in private window and also tried to edit ML login information but alll failed, the error persists.

Hi, BrightestUSA.

Our engineers are already aware of the connection issue between Merrill Lynch and the QuickBooks Online (QBO) system. In fact, there's already an ongoing investigation associated with it.

In the meantime, I suggest reaching out to our technical support team to get included in the group of impacted users. This way, you'll receive the most recent updates via email on this matter. You can share this investigation number (INV-114695) with them.

Here's how:

  1. Open your QBO account.
  2. Select the (?) Help button at the top right corner.
  3. Go to the Search tab and click Contact Us.
  4. Pick Ask about something else, then enter your concern in the designated box.
  5. Hit Continue.
  6. Choose either Chat or Callback.

Please also observe their business hours to ensure you can connect with them successfully. You can refer to the Support Hours section in this article for more details: Get help with QuickBooks products and services.

Moreover, here's some helpful material to guide you on organizing your income and expenses for accurate reporting and tax calculation: Categorize online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.

Feel free to respond if you have more questions about linking your bank to QBO. I'm here to help you whenever you need it.

Are there any updates on the connectivity issue to Merrill?  I am still receiving the same error message as OP since late November.
