Can't connect with bank account.

My bank account will not connect but says connection is good.

I'm determined to ensure you can connect your account to QuickBooks Online, @TCC5.

 

May I know your bank's name? You may have too much accumulated historical data. Whenever you visit a page, it saves some information from the web page in its cache and cookies. These files allow the websites you visit most often to load faster. Not to worry, clearing them will do the trick.

 

First, let's try accessing your account through an incognito window to rule out the possibility of a webpage issue. You can refer to these shortcut keys to open an incognito window in all supported browsers:

 

  • Chrome: Ctrl+Shift+N
  • Firefox: Ctrl+Shift+P
  • Safari: Command+Shift+N

 

If it works, switch back to your regular browser. Then, clear its cache. This way, you can access QuickBooks with a clean slate. You can also use a different supported one.

 

Otherwise, I recommend reaching out to our Customer Care Support team. This way, they can take a closer look at this issue. They'll also raise a ticket to our engineering team if needed.

 

In the meantime, you can download an updated list of your transactions from your bank's website. Then, upload them to QuickBooks using a CSV file. After that, you can categorize them in the For Review tab.
