Question

Can't find dates to verify payments to date, yet under the normal transactions list I can find them easily, what do I do?

My 2020 quarterly tax payments have Find payment buttons under recorded for two dates. When I hit the button, it takes me to a transaction list, and both those dates and amounts paid aren't there. But if I go back to my normal transaction list and look the federal payments up, they show up just fine. I don't know what to do to verify them on the payments to date page, and it's messing with my turbotax return estimate saying I owe because those payments haven't been verified on this one page. In my quarterly estimates box it says each are paid. I'm so confused.

Hi @shelb-wood21.

You may need to take note of the date on when the taxes are paid. Make sure that you have marked and matched the estimated tax as paid for that correct quarter.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Taxes menu.
  2. Select the small arrow icon ▼ for the quarter you paid for.
  3. Look for your tax payment.

If you're unable to see the payment to the correct quarter, here how to fix it:

  1. Select the Find your estimated tax payments link.
  2. Follow the onscreen steps to select and match the correct tax payment.
  3. Go back to the Taxes menu.
  4. Look for your tax payment.
