Can’t make a deposit in the QB online app

The app has a malfunction when trying to make a deposit

This is unusual behavior, c2-services.

 

Did you experience any error messages when trying to make a deposit? Adding additional details will help us check the cause of this. A screenshot would be a great help too.

 

In the meantime, I'd recommend clearing the app's data. Doing so helps us refresh the application and eliminate common issues causing the inability to make deposits.

 

Here's how:

 

Android:

 

  1. Open the app, then go to the menu at the top right. 
  2. Choose Settings.
  3. Select Refresh Data and choose Yes.

iOS:

 

  1. Open the app, then select the menu at the top right.
  2. Choose Help & Feedback
  3. Select Refresh Data and Refresh.

 

If the issue persists, I'd recommend uninstalling, then reinstalling the app to start with a clean slate. You can check out this article to download the app again: QuickBooks Online Mobile App.

 

Also, I'd suggest accessing your account via supported browsers. There, you can deposit the transactions.

I did thee refresh. Still same thing

i reinstalled the app. Still the same thing. 
yes, it does give an error message, unable to load at this time. 

this has been going on for about three weeks now. I’m not always at the computer so the app is my go to.

I appreciate you following my colleague’s suggestions above and sharing the result of it. Please know that I understand how convenient it is to use the QBO app when working. 

 

Since you’ve encountered this issue for a while, I highly recommend contacting our Support Team to have this matter further investigated. This way, we can determine the reason behind why you’re unable to create deposits.

 

Here’s how:

 

  1. Go to the Help icon.
  2. Choose the Search tab and then Contact Us.
  3. Enter a brief description of your concern.
  4. Hit Continue.

 

Additionally, you can also use the app to reach out to our representative.  To do so, follow the steps below:

 

  1.  At the top right menu, select the Help icon.
  2. Click Help and Support.
  3. Tap Contact Us, then enter your concern.
  4. Press Continue.

 

To ensure we address your concern, our representatives are available from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM on weekdays and 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM on Saturdays.

 

In the meantime, you’ll want to use browsers to make deposits in the program: Record and make bank deposits in QuickBooks Online.
