Can you change sub-account information on a reconciled transaction? QBO changed the check number and cleared the Reconciled status when editing a Reconciled entry.

Do you mean the category used in a reconciled transaction? You can change it without affecting the reconciliation status. The status only changes when you modify the amount. The check number of a transaction will also not change unless you edit it.

You can edit your transaction again. Select the correct category and enter the right check number. Make sure it has the R (reconciled) mark. If that mark is missing, click the field where you see it until it shows an R, then save your transaction. When you get a warning about the reconciliation status, just select Yes to save the transaction.
