There are different features supported on each device for QuickBooks Online Mobile. Like recording estimates, Invoices, Sales Receipts, and Payments. Also, creating expenses and bill pay. However, depositing a check on a checking account through mobile isn't possible.
Meanwhile, you can log in to your QuickBooks account via a browser. From there, you'll have the option to create a check and deposit it directly to a specific account or manually deposit the entry and choose check as a payment method.
Since the option you want to utilize is unavailable, I recommend going to the Gear icon and select Feedback. This way, you'll be able to submit a request about the option of depositing a check through a mobile app. Any recommendations are sent to our engineer for consideration in future updates.
