Allow me to address your concern for today, carlgeltz.

You can export data from QuickBooks Online (QBO). However, you'll want to seek help from HRBlockTax Support on how to bring the data to the software. You can use the web to search for its official phone support number.

Now, here's how to export your data from QBO:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Export data under Tools.
  2. From the Reports tab, select the date and toggle the reports to export.
  3. After that, click the Lists tab and toggle the lists to export.
  4. Then, click Export to Excel.
  5. You'll be prompted with confirmation that the data has been exported. Click OK

Find out more about the process of exporting data from QBO through this article: Export Data out of QuickBooks Online.

You may also want to visit our Help Articles to help you with the tasks and tips while using QBO.

You can always get back here whenever you need help with managing QBO data. I'll be around to help. Wishing you a great day ahead!

@carlgeltz

You may explore a trial version of a bookkeeping app to get the TXF file from your QBO and export it to HRBlock. Contact us in private and we will share the info.

I'd like to try the trial version of bookkeeping to transfer txf data from QBO to H&RBlock software. Is it available?

Hello there, @JJKineman. Thank you for posting in the Community.

Currently, QuickBooks Online is unable to create a .txf file. However, you can get the trial subscription to enter your tax details and get your data through reports. Then, export them to Excel.

  1. Go to Reports on the left menu and search for any tax report you need.
  2. Click the Export option.
  3. Choose Export to Excel.

For more information, check out this reference: How to Export Reports to Excel.

After that, you can look for an Excel to .txf converter online.

Please let me know if you have any other concerns. Take care.
