I have the help you need in undoing a reconciliation to start afresh in QuickBooks Online (QBO), tcmd.

Although there’s no way we can directly delete a reconciliation. However, we can undo this to remove transactions from the reconciled one and re-categorize this to the correct account.

If you have an accountant that uses QuickBooks, you can let them undo your entire reconciliation. QuickBooks Online Accountant (QBOA) has the option to do this at once. However, if you prefer to do it by yourself, you can follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select the Chart of Accounts.
  2. Open the account in question by clicking View Register.
  3. You'll see an "R" in the checkmark ✔ column.
  4. Select the box and keep clicking it until the box is blank. This removes the transaction from the reconciliation.
  5. Click Save and proceed to the rest of the transactions.

You may want to consider checking out these articles that guide how to classify transactions and carry out account reconciliation. This approach will help ensure that your transactions are accurately classified and that your bookkeeping is consistent, without any discrepancies:

Please comment on this thread if you have more questions or concerns about reconciling your accounts in QBO. I'll get back to you as soon as possible.
