Can you reconcile an adjusting journal entry made by the accountant?

Journal Entry was made by accountant on 12-21-2022.  Just asking if I will be able to clear that so it show up on credit card reconciliation.

You can reconcile an adjusting journal entry made by your accountant. However, since the transaction in question is dated 2022, it can impact your previous reconciliation and balances. It would be best to reach out to your accountant for further guidance on this matter. Here's how to manually reconcile the journal entry:

 

  1. Navigate to the Gear icon located at the top of the interface. From there, select Chart of Accounts under the Your Company column.
  2.  Look for the relevant account associated with the transaction you want to modify. Once found, click on View Register in the Action column.
  3. Identify the journal entry you wish to reconcile.
  4. In the Checkmark column, repeatedly click on the top line of the transaction to switch its status to Reconciled (R).
