Greetings, Workdaland! Thanks for laying out your concern with us. I'm here to assist you with resetting your account and starting a new one in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

You have two options available to you. First, you can begin anew using the same company, or you can start fresh with a different company file. It is strongly recommended to choose the former option as it will result in fewer unused company files cluttering up the system.

If your account is active for less than 60 days, you can reset your account through the purging method.

Here's how:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account as an admin.
  2. Delete all the text after the last app/ and type in purgecompany
  3. - Before: https://...qbo.intuit.com/app/homepage
  4. - After: https://...qbo.intuit.com/app/purgecompany
  5. Type Yes to confirm that you want to delete your company data.
  6. Press Wipe data.

However, if your account has been active for more than 60 days, it won't be possible to delete the data. In that case, the only option is to cancel your account and create a new subscription.

For more details on the process of deleting your data and starting over in QuickBooks Online, you may refer to this article: Delete your data and start over in QuickBooks Online.

If you have any further questions while managing your QBO account, leave a comment below, and I'll be happy to assist you. Have a wonderful day!
