Hi, @peacefulpinesres

I'm here to help get your online banking to reconnect so you can start downloading transactions.

When you recently change your online banking credentials, you'll also have to update the bank information in QuickBooks. You can click the Edit sign in info button to change the bank's password. Let me show you how:

  1. Go to the Transactions menu and then select Banking.
  2. Select the tile for the bank account.
  3. Click the Edit ✎ next to the bank name then, select Edit sign-in info.
  4. Enter your updated bank password.
  5. Hit Save and connect
  6. Once you see a confirmation message, click I'm done, Let's go!

Then, make sure to enter the new credentials manually. You can click this article to see information on how to update your bank's login credentials: How to update your bank account sign-in information.

If the issue persists, let's perform a manual update to refresh the connection and bring in your transactions. Here’s how:

  1. Go to the Banking tab on the left panel.
  2. Choose Banking, then click on the Update button.
  3. If you’re unable to connect, please wait for 2 or 3 hours and try again.

In the meantime, I suggest manually uploading your bank transactions to keep your books updated. See this article for the steps: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

Additionally, here are some articles that you can browse to help manage your online banking transactions and reconcile your bank accounts:

Please get back to me if you continue to get the same results so I can look further into this. I'll stick around to help you out.

Utilize the trial version of MT Online to isolate the issue. It is designed to import into any bank or credit card in QuickBooks Online, so there is no specific setting needed. If the same error persists, there is an ongoing problem at your bank or connection.
