Reconciling transactions is a critical process in accounting that ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial records. Let's figure out why your deleted transactions in the register still appear on the reconcile screen, Raphael. My priority is to help you resume your workflow smoothly.

First, we can use the Audit log feature. This records all activities made in your account. We can use it to verify if the transactions were successfully deleted. Here's how:

  1. Go to Settings and tap Audit Log.
  2. In the User dropdown, choose All Users.
  3. Pick a period in the Date Changed dropdown.
  4. Choose Deleted/ Voided Transactions from the Events dropdown.

If entries continue to appear after confirming deletion, you may be experiencing a browser-related issue. A full cache can cause unexpected behavior in the program. To resolve this, we can perform basic troubleshooting steps. Start by opening a private or incognito window on your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account. Below are the keyboard shortcuts:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

After signing in, revisit and check the reconcile screen. If it works, return to your default browser and clear its cache to refresh the page. Another way is to use other supported browsers.

The instructions above should help you overcome the problem you encountered with removed transactions in QBO, Raphael. Should you have other questions about fixing reconciliation issues or managing bank transactions, comment below.

By following the measures above, you can effectively manage reconciliation challenges and maintain accurate financial records.
