Changed CC account# difficultites importing discover transactions into QB?

Seems QB is not connecting the G/L account because the accoutn number on the CC has changed

Let's update your bank account number so transactions are downloaded correctly, shoshanablickste.

 

Once there's an update from your bank, you also need to change the information in QuickBooks. Doing this will help ensure that the bank feeds have the latest transactions.

 

To do so, you need to disconnect the CC account from online banking. Before deactivating Bank Feeds, make sure you match or delete all of the downloaded transactions for the account. QuickBooks won’t let you make changes if there are still pending transactions.

 

then, proceed with the deactivation process:

 

  1. Go to Lists and then select Chart of Accounts.
  2. Right-click the CC account, then select Edit Account.
  3. Go to the Bank Settings tab.
  4. Select Deactivate all online services and then OK to confirm.
  5. Click Save & Close.

 After you set up your account, you can download transactions from your bank.
