Chase bank changed my account number format - QB Desktop Pro 2021

You're right. You need to turn off your Bank Feeds to make any changes to update your login and other info for the bank account.

However, you don't need to create a new account. You can reconnect your bank feeds by entering your login credentials within QuickBooks.

Here's how:

1. Go to Lists and then select Chart of Accounts.
2. Right-click the account you want to turn off. Then select Edit Account.
3. Go to Bank Settings.
4. Select Deactivate all online services, then select OK.
5. Hit Save & Close.
6. Right-click on the bank you want to update, then click Edit. 
7. Update the account details as necessary.
8. Click Save & Close.
