Question

Citi credit cards are not updating, hasn't been for days. Some still showing as "pending" but are not. If I log into my Citi credit card directly, it all looks fine.

Making sure that your credit card and the transactions are updated should help us run the business smoothly and efficiently, @obgl.

Good to hear that you double-checked your transaction on your Citi credit card account. I'll walk you through how to troubleshoot the missing transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Let's refresh the connection between your Citi credit card and QuickBooks. This way, the recent transactions will flow into your account and update the status.

Here's how:

  1. Select the Gear icon and choose Bank accounts
  2. Click the Refresh all button.
  3. Review the transaction and its status to verify if it's working well.
  4. Repeat the steps 2-3 times.

If the issue persists, I'd recommend importing your missing data into your account. Thus, you can categorize them as quickly as possible. Let me show you how:

  1. Sign in to your bank website and follow the instructions on how to download your transactions as a comma-separated value (CSV) file.
  2. Go to the Gear ⚙ icon and select Imports.
  3. Hit Import older transactions.
  4. Tap Browse, then locate the file you've created previously.

       5. Review the column headers and data.

       6. Click Import, then Continue
