Help has arrived, @greenfield-g! I've got steps you need to connect your account in QuickBooks.

If you got a new credit card, you have two options. You may keep your old account or start a new one. If you want the first option, you'll have to disconnect your credit card and connect the new one to online banking.

Here's how to disconnect:

  1. Go to Banking.
  2. Choose the tile for the bank account.
  3. Select the Pencil icon, then Edit account info.
  4. Click the Disconnect this account on save checkbox.
  5. Select Save and Close.

Then, follow the steps below to link the new one:

  1. Go to the Banking menu.
  2. Select Add account or Link account.
  3. In the search field, enter the name for your credit card.
  4. Select Continue. Then sign in to your bank with your user ID and password.
  5. Follow the on-screen steps. This might include security checks your bank requires. It could take a few minutes to connect.
  6. Select the accounts you want to connect, then select the account type dropdown. Choose the account type that matches your chart of accounts in QuickBooks.
  7. Select how far back you want to download transactions. Some banks let you download the last 90 days of transactions. Others can go back as far as 24 months.
  8. Select Connect.

Otherwise, if you prefer the second option, refer to this article and go to the If you want to start a new account in QuickBooks section: Fix Banking Error 324.
