Connect Bank Account

I have been unable to connect to any of my bank accounts for about a week. I have disconnected accounts and tried to reconnect. Is there an issue with Quickbooks?

These are the possible reasons why your bank was unable to connect: 

 

  • The bank may not be a participating bank. 
  • Your bank might not connect to all types of accounts (for example, personal accounts vs. business accounts).
  • The bank is having a system maintenance.
  • Some banks have multiple names on our list. You might want to check and select the correct one or try all possible bank URLs.


For us to check if this is related to the browser issue, I suggest using incognito or any other private browser to prevent any existing cached files that might be causing this behavior.

 

Here are some shortcut keys that will route you to a private browser: 

 

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari: press Command + Shift + N

 

If the issue persists, I recommend clearing your browser's cache and cookies. Also, you can use other supported web browsers that can help identify if the issue is related to your current browser.

 

Additionally, could you kindly share the name of your bank, and any specific error while connecting to it? Any additional information would help me look for any ongoing investigation, and provide you with the best possible solution.

In the meantime, you can manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online. 

 

Furthermore, you may also categorize your online bank transactions as you successfully connect your bank account in QuickBooks.

The bank is not the problem, I have used Quickbooks with America First Credit Union for years.  It simply quit working last week. I will clear cache and try again.
