Hi there, @gminiguy.

Thank you for posting in the QuickBooks Community. I'll sharing various details to ensure you can connect your QuickBooks account.

QuickBooks allows you to connect as many accounts as you need to download recent transactions automatically. However, there are a few potential reasons why you're unable find or connect to your bank when you search for it:

  • Your bank does not connect to all types of accounts, such as personal versus business.
  • We have several names from your financial institution on our list.
  • The bank is not a participant in the financial system.

If you've tried all the options that match your bank's name and still unable to connect in QuickBooks Self-Employed, I recommend contacting your bank for assistance. Please follow the steps outlined below.

Here's how:

  1. Select the profile ⚙ icon and select Connect bank.
  2. Search for the name of your financial institution. If QuickBooks is unable to find your bank, you will get the message, "Hmm, we can’t find [name of the bank you entered] in our list of supported banks," and you will be presented with helpful tips to try and locate your bank account.
  3. Select Request to add your bank.
  4. Enter your bank's web address (URL) in the field provided and select Request.

In the meantime, you can manually enter the bank transactions into QuickBooks Self-Employed. You can follow the steps in this article: Manually import transactions into QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Let me know in the comments below if you have other questions about online banking in QuickBooks. I'll be right around the corner if you need further assistance. Enjoy the rest of the day!
