Hi All,

I am not able to link my East West Bank Credit Card to QBO as this credit card login is under a different platform, ezcardinfo.com.  Any suggestions to solve this issue?

I understand your concern about your bank and the challenges you've encountered while attempting to link your bank account@Dixon FDS. Let's ensure you can link your bank account  to your QuickBooks account,

Please know that connecting bank accounts to QuickBooks relies on the bank's website and the information it provides to our system. When you initiate the connection, the program uses the URL provided by the bank to navigate to the appropriate login page and gather the necessary financial data.

  1. Go to Banking and select Add Account.
  2. Search for the name of your bank. You'll get the message, "Hmm, we can't find [name of the bank you entered] in our list of supported banks," if QBO cannot locate your bank.
  3. Select Request support for your bank.
  4. Enter your bank's web address (URL) in the field provided, and click Request.

Furthermore, Learn how QuickBooks download the latest bank and credit card transaction. I've got this article for more details: Categorize Online Bank Transactions In QuickBooks Online.

Let me know in the comments below if you have other queries about online banking. I'll be right around the corner, ready to help out. Enjoy the rest of the day!

Hi Lolly,

Thanks for your reply.  The East West Bank has been properly linked to QBO account a few months ago with the help of our QB Accountant.  Unfortunately, the linkage of East West Bank Credit Card to QBO account could not been successfully done as the login to the East West Credit Card is under a different platform, ezcardinfo.com. It is nothing to do with the East West Bank website.

We can review the credit card transactions and download the monthly credit card statements in pdf format via the third party platform, ezcardinfo.com. In this regard, we have to manually enter a journal entry monthly to record the credit card transactions and it is really time-consuming. Hope there is a way to automate this process.

I appreciate the update on the progress you've made and the challenges you've encountered while linking your East West Bank account to QuickBooks Online (QBO), @Dixon FDS.

Let me share some insights about this matter.

Similar to what my colleague stated earlier, QuickBooks depends on your bank's website and the information it supplies to our system. Thus, upon establishing the connection, it utilizes the URL furnished by your bank to access the relevant login page and collect the appropriate data.

I see how beneficial it would be to your business to automatically upload and record your bank transaction to QuickBooks without having to manually enter a monthly journal entry. To ensure it receives attention from our product engineers, I suggest using the feedback option, enabling us to enhance the program's features accordingly.

Here's how:

  1. Navigate to the Gear icon at the top.
  2. Click Feedback.
  3. Enter your comments or product suggestions.
  4. Then select Next to submit feedback.

In the meantime, you can continue using the process of downloading your credit card statements in a pdf format via eZCard Info.

Additionally, you can manually create a CSV file. This way, you can manually upload them in QuickBooks. Otherwise, you may import and export QuickBooks data with MS Excel files.

Feel free to share any questions you have in mind, and we can delve deeper into finding the best way to achieve a more efficient process for recording your credit card transactions. Take care!
