Connecting Bank Accounts

Let's get your transactions downloaded and categorized. 

When you connect an account, QuickBooks automatically downloads and categorizes bank and credit card transactions for you. Match means QuickBooks matched the downloaded transaction with the one you already entered. This links them together so you don't get duplicates. You'll notice in your bank feeds that a match is found. You'll just have to review the matched transaction and then add it.

If you want, you can create rules so specific transactions are automatically accepted into your books from the Banking page. It recognizes the transaction descriptions you set.
