I go into bank feed set up and try use the link to enroll but it just shows a blank screen once selected. I have never connected this bank account to QB so it needs to be enrolled with no way to do so.

A seamless bank connection is necessary for an efficient accounting system, ayankitis. I'm happy to discuss how we can troubleshoot this issue together.

There may be alerts on the bank's website that prevent the page from loading in QuickBooks Desktop. To troubleshoot this issue, copy and paste the URL into a web browser outside QuickBooks. Alternatively, you can log in directly to your bank's website to verify everything is functioning properly. Be sure to check for any messages or notifications indicating a problem.

If everything works smoothly, we'll need to troubleshoot the program itself. To do so, ensure you've updated QuickBooks Desktop to the newest release to get the latest bug fixes and security patches. Then, update your Financial Institutions Directory to get the latest info from your financial institution. I'll outline the steps below on how to do this.

  1. Find the fidir.txt file on your system. The XXXX represents your QuickBooks version.
    • If you're using Enterprise, look for C:\ProgramData\Intuit\QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions XXXX\Components\OLB\branding\filist.
    • If you're a Pro/Premier user, find C:\ProgramData\Intuit\QuickBooks XXXX\Components\OLB\branding\filist.
  2. Right-click fidir.txt, then Rename.
  3. Change .txt to .old, then click outside the field to save the name change.
  4. Select your QuickBooks version to get the latest file and save it to your desktop.
  5. Navigate to your desktop, right-click the fidir.txt file, then Copy.
  6. Open the filist folder.
  7. Right-click anywhere in the folder, then Paste.
  8. Close and open QuickBooks.

Once you've done this, connect to your bank account again. The detailed steps are here: Set up or edit bank accounts for Bank Feeds in QuickBooks Desktop.

Furthermore, I'll leave this article in case you encounter OL and OLSU bank feed errors so you can troubleshoot them: Fix OL and OLSU Bank Feeds errors in QuickBooks Desktop.

Then, to help you move forward, here's a guide on organizing your transactions by adding and matching them: Add and match Bank Feed transactions in QuickBooks Desktop.
