Connecting Square to QB Online

I have been trying to connect my Square account to QB Online. I keep receiving this message

"Please disconnect Sync with Square. There are two Square integrations connected to your QuickBooks. We recommend disconnecting the older Sync with Square integration before adding transactions to avoid data duplication." 

I have followed the steps to disconnect and started over, however, I still am receiving this error. 
Any suggestions??

I'll make every effort to assist you in resolving your issue.
 

Have you tried it in a private window to see if it produces the same results? The large amount of data in the cache is most likely causing QBO to malfunction unexpectedly. This is because a regular browser will continue to accumulate data and will not automatically clear its history.
 

We can perform the basic browser troubleshooting steps that'll help isolate the issue.
 

Here's how:
 

  1. Restart your browser.
  2. Log in to your account and try to connect again the integrated app to QuickBooks Online in an incognito or private browser. You can use these keyboard shortcuts to launch a new private window:

    Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N  
    Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
    Safari: press Command + Shift + N
     
  3. If it works on the private browser, you can go back to the regular browser and clear your browser's cache.
  4. Then try to connect again using your regular browser.
