Correcting entry in bank account

If you've noticed that the reference numbers are off, it's recommended to correct them right away. This is to ensure to you can accurately balance your checkbook and track which checks have been processed by your bank or are still outstanding. I'll show you how to do it:

1. Go to the Accounting menu.
2. Select Chart of Accounts.
3. Find the appropriate account, then click View register from the Action column.
4. Choose the check you want to edit to expand that view.
5. Modify the number and hit Save.
