Amex account has two card numbers - both are on the same statement so need to reconcile together.  How can I get the second card's transactions to import?

Hello there, @bhanville

Thanks for choosing QuickBooks Online (QBO) for managing your business. I can certainly help you connect your AMEX account to QuickBooks.

To start, I'd suggest signing in to your bank’s website to check if the issue is on their end. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Banking menu or Transactions menu.
  2. Select Link account.
  3. Please search for your bank and select it.
  4. Copy the URL listed for your bank.
  5. Sign in to your bank or credit card's website using the copied URL.

Once done, I'd recommend updating your bank's info in QuickBooks. This ensures the details entered in the system are correct. I'll guide you on how:

  1. Go to the Banking menu or Transactions menu.
  2. Choose the Banking tab.
  3. Select the tile for the bank account. Then select the Edit icon.
  4. Click Edit sign-in info.
  5. Update your info as needed.

If you encounter any error messages, please see Step 4 in this article: Fix Specific Bank Errors.

Also, you can manually add your account in QuickBooks. Then, download transactions from your bank using a CSV file. After that, you can now import them into the program.

Suppose you have other banking-related concerns or questions.  I'll be right here to provide the information that you need.
