Credit Card Reconciling Process Half Wrong -

Hello!

After I input the QBO file and went through all the transactions, I realized I didn't go back far enough and I'm missing about 6 months. (Fail, I know) How can I undo that file I input so I can redo it with the correct dates and transactions?

Thank you!! I am so stuck!

Thanks for sharing your concern today, @workfromhome. I'm here to guide you in correcting your previous reconciliation.

To undo the previous reconciliation, you'll need to re-enter or edit the transactions. I'd recommend consulting an accountant for additional guidance with this.

Here's how to undo the reconciliation:

  1. Back up the QuickBooks company file.
  2. In the Begin Reconciliation window, select Undo Last Reconciliation.
  3. When prompted, select Continue then OK.

Once done, close and reopen the Begin Reconciliation window.
