Delete Memorized Transactions Reminders

I deleted a memorized transaction. How do I keep the reminders from popping up every time at login? I can not edit the memorized transaction because I already deleted it. I tried making a new one with the same name and changing it to "don't remind me" and that did not work. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hello, @MF1211. I appreciate you performing some troubleshooting steps to resolve your issue.

To begin, I recommend checking your settings since there's a Reminders setting that'll keep pinging you, even if you've deleted the memorized transaction. By toggling this off, it may help sort this out.

Here's how:

  1. On your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) account, choose Edit from the top menu.
  2. Select Preferences.
  3. Choose the Reminders option from the left.
  4. Click Company Preferences.
  5. Select Don't remind me for the Memorized Transactions Due.
  6. Click OK.

Once done, try closing and reopening the company file to see if that same prompt returns. If the same issue persists, let's use the Re-Sort Lists process in QBDT. It'll help work out any errors that may have occurred in the lists. For detailed steps, check this article: Re-sort lists in QuickBooks Desktop.
