Our company received a deposit into our account and it only shows as coming from Quickbooks payroll. We have no idea what it is for and the bank cannot tell us anything.  Anyone else have this happen?

Thanks for letting us know about this matter, wardenlm. Allow me to help you check where the deposit came from in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).

To review where this amount originated, please log into the Customer Account Management Portal (CAMPs) and check your transaction history.

Here's how:

  1. Log in to camps.intuit.com. Then, choose View your transaction history.
  2. On the Time Period dropdown, select the accurate transaction range.
  3. Locate your needed order and click the order number to see its details.
  4. You can also print the transaction list by choosing the Print this page.
  5. Hit Back to my Account to go back to your CAMPs dashboard.

However, if you're unable to locate where this amount is coming from, I recommend contacting our Support Team. They can help you investigate this matter and identify where this deposit originated.

We can reach out to them by following the steps below:

  1. Open QuickBooks.
  2. Go to Help, then click QuickBooks Desktop Help/Contact Us.
  3. Hit Contact Us.
  4. Give a brief description of your issue, then select Continue.
  5. Sign in to your Intuit account, click Continue, and then Continue with my account.
  6. Choose chat with us (start a conversation online with a QuickBooks expert) or Have us call you (skip the line and no more phone trees. Leave your number and get a call back).

In addition, I'm adding this article that can help you navigate through QBDT seamlessly: QuickBooks Desktop Tutorial.

If you have more QuickBooks-related concerns, don't hesitate to reply to this thread. We're always happy to help.
