Thank you for adding your first post here in the Community, @trustedproviders. I can help you find the missing deposit in your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.

If you've connected your bank account to QuickBooks and this deposit isn't downloaded, you can update your bank manually to download the transaction.

  1. Sign in to QBO.
  2. Click on Banking on the left pane, then go to the Banking page.
  3. Select your bank, then tap on Update.
  4. If asked, enter your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). Then select Continue update.

If there are error notifications, here's how to fix them.

On the other hand, if you enter the deposit through the +New icon, you can filter the date range of your search to narrow down the result. Or, visit the Audit Log report to check whether it is deleted or modified.

  1. Go to the Gear icon, then select Audit Log.
  2. Tap on Filter.
  3. Use the fields on the Filter panel to choose the appropriate UserDate, or Events filter to narrow the results.
  4. Click on Apply.
  5. Hit View to open the audit history.

For more tips about recording deposits manually or categorizing your entries through the Banking page, you can open these articles:

Once everything is in place, you can go with your reconciliation to keep track of your bank balances or statements.

If you have follow-ups about your deposit, let me know by adding a comment below. I'm always here to help. Have a good one!
