under Sales then deposits, I received an error message saying " You have transactions that need review. Please check the Resolution Center to release these funds at the earliest or check your email for the detailed info". I received no email, and there is no messages in the Resolution Center. I've called 3 times and chatted with 5 individuals and no one knows how to resolve this.

Thank you for raising this concern, tom-ikonickholdi. I want to make sure this QuickBooks Payments on hold concern is addressed properly.

I appreciate the time and effort you've spent with one of our support agents. I'll personally share your feedback with our Customer Support Team regarding this one. We'll be able to take action on improving our customer service.

For QuickBooks Payments on hold, we can check the status of your payments in the Merchant Center. If you see the word “Withheld” in the Method column, we’ll know it’s on hold. When something unexpected occurs in your transaction, this may trigger a hold on that payment. This doesn’t mean that anything is wrong, we'll just need extra time to review. Here are some common reasons for holds:

  • When your payment processing exceeds the established maximum dollar amount expected on your account.
  • When a transaction is processed after several authorization attempts and failures.
  • When certain transactions require verification of your business type to ensure it complies with the Intuit Acceptable Use Policy.
  • When our systems identify processing patterns that pose a risk to any of the parties involved: you, your customer, or Intuit.

Intuit will attempt to reach out to you through the phone number on your merchant account. You’ll also receive an email with detailed instructions on what additional information is needed to complete our review. Since you did not receive an email, we'll need to contact our Payments Support Team to help you with this one. I know you already contacted our support agents, however, the QuickBooks Payment Team is the right support to further assist you with this one.
